The answers above cover the questions we hear most. This page adds the context behind a few of them, because the short answers are only useful if you know how the service is put together.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the service cost?
Plans are $2,998 (Starter), $4,498 (Growth) and $8,998 (Elite) per month in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST for Canadian clients based on their province (GST and QST in Quebec). One-time website packages start at $3,500. Ad budgets paid to Google or Meta are separate.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. The service has no lock-in. The plan, the deliverables and the notice terms are set out in writing before you start, so you know exactly how to leave if you ever want to.
What is included in the free trial?
Seven days of audit work: a digital marketing audit, a website performance check, an SEO analysis and competitor benchmarking. There is no credit card and no obligation to continue.
How long is onboarding?
About 30 days. In that month we sort out account ownership, install call tracking and analytics, correct your Business Profile and start the website work. A large multi-location site can run into month two.
When will I see more calls?
Ads can bring calls within days of launch, which is usually late in month one or early in month two. Local search builds more slowly, often over four to twelve months. We report every number from the first month.
We tried an agency before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?
We can't promise it will be. What we can do is show you the calendar before you start, put every account in your name, and send updates you can check against your own call log. Most failed agency relationships break on visibility, and that is what we fix first.
Who owns the website and accounts?
Your Business Profile, ad and analytics accounts are set up or recovered in your company's name, with us as a manager. Website ownership and hosting terms are written into your agreement; ask us to walk you through them before you sign.
What happens to my accounts if I leave?
They stay with you, because they are in your company's name. We remove our own access when the agreement ends, and we can hand over notes on what was running so the next person can pick it up.
Will you promise a ranking or a number of leads?
No, and no honest marketer can. Google controls its results, and your leads depend on your market and your office too. We commit to the work in writing and show you the results each period.
How will I know what you did each month?
Every update lists the work done, what it produced and what changes next. Starter clients get monthly reporting, Growth weekly reporting, and Elite a real-time dashboard with monthly strategy calls.
Do you work with small, one-truck companies?
Yes, if the numbers work. We'll run a break-even check with you first. If a monthly plan doesn't make sense yet, we'll say so and suggest a smaller step, such as a one-time website.
Do you install, repair or service HVAC equipment?
No. We are a marketing and business consulting service, not an HVAC contractor. We never send technicians, quote on jobs or compete with clients for work.
Do you work outside British Columbia?
Yes. We are headquartered in Vancouver and work with HVAC companies in all ten provinces and three territories, adjusting the calendar for each region's climate, language rules and programs.
Price and what it buys
The plan fee buys a defined list of work each month, not hours. Starter covers the essentials: a website with SEO service pages, your Google Business Profile and local SEO, a basic ads setup, monthly reporting, and hosting and maintenance. Growth and Elite add depth rather than different services. The pricing page has a break-even check you can run in two minutes to see whether a plan suits your margins.
The one thing the fee never includes is media spend, the money you pay Google or Meta directly. Keeping it separate means you can see exactly what the platforms charged and change the budget without renegotiating the plan.
Timing and the first three months
The first quarter follows a fixed shape. Week one is the free trial. The rest of month one is onboarding: accounts, tracking, profile fixes, website work. Month two is launch, and month three is usually the first full month of clean numbers.
Owners sometimes ask us to skip ahead and start ads in week one. We don't, because a campaign whose calls can't be counted can't be judged, and an unjudged campaign is how most owners end up feeling they wasted money on marketing.
If you've been burned before
Many of the owners who contact us have already paid an agency and come away unsure what they got. The usual causes are the same: accounts registered to the agency, updates built around impressions and rankings, and no connection between marketing numbers and booked jobs.
Our answer is structural rather than a promise. Accounts go in your name during onboarding. Every update opens with calls and booked jobs. And you can check the work yourself in fifteen minutes using the method on the reporting page. If any of those things stops being true, you should leave, and with no lock-in you can.
Ownership, in practice
Ownership is about control, not paperwork. You should be able to log in to your Business Profile, your Google Ads account and your analytics at any time, without asking us. During onboarding we check each account's ownership settings with you, and anything held by a former agency or employee is recovered. Our onboarding checklist guide lists every account to check, and you can use it whether or not you work with us.
Results, and what we will and won't promise
We don't promise rankings or lead counts, because neither is in anyone's gift. What we commit to is the work on the calendar, delivered on time and shown to you in each update. The results we publish are from HVAC companies and name the company: BCWide.ca, for example, reached 3× leads in 90 days. The results page sets each project against the time it took, which is the most honest way to judge what a monthly service might do for you.
Regional differences
The service works the same way everywhere, but the calendar moves with the climate and the rules. Prairie heating seasons start earlier, Quebec content must be available in French, and in Nunavut commercial advertising needs Inuktut. Programs that drive demand, such as heat pump rebates, differ by province and change often. Each region page covers what to expect where you work.
Call or text (604) 632-4959, or email Ali@Sedighi.ca. You'll reach a senior strategist rather than a call centre. If your question is about a past agency, have your last few monthly updates to hand; they usually show us quickly what went wrong and what to check first in the trial. The contact page explains what to include so we can give you a useful answer the first time.
